My Website

You are probably looking at this because your interested in what I have done in this REU internship. Well, hopefully this blog here will help give you a general idea of what I did in my project. Keep in mind that my project experience is seen through my eyes only and many people had different overall experiences. I only hope to shed some light on my impression and hopefully give you a good idea of what this internship is all about. I tried to stay focused on what the day was like in two parts, first what I learned and second the social aspects within the group. Enjoy and thank you for reading.
Here is the all of us having just the grandest time at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium!!!Yipeewoop!

This is an enormous main truss system of the Dallas Cowboy Stadium, an impressive work of engineering.

These are a couple pictures of a day at the Civil Engineering Lab. We were testing the flexural  strength of a piece of wooden 2X4 and reinforced concrete. We also looked at the compressive strengths of several concrete samples.
This is screenshot of the RISA program that we used.It is a structure built in RISA undergoing deformation as you can see from the bent beams.
